We have just been told no more personal emails or personal anything at work anymore!!! So sorry to say I will not be able to come here during work hours anymore. It may be good for me, at least I will get more work done.

Hi Sharon & Normy,
long time no "see"! I posted in the introduction thread that I'm back to try this again. I am also trying to post only during non-work hours. So maybe we will be online at the same time occasionally. I probably will post at beginning or end of the work day during the week. I am off tomorrow, and I am planning on making the most of the day. Big to-do list. Good luck with the new mayor, Sharon! I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving. |

OZARKGIRL IS BACK!!! YAY!!!!
Been wondering what had happened to you. As you've probably realised by now if you've done any CUOP, Sharon has moved house and I'm in transition, so we've not been posting much except house stuff. In fact, I've not been procrastinating much except yesterday, when I procrastinated big style, and made a major realisation about my procrastination. Will share the story another day as the thing I was procrastinating about (homework) still needs doing, and it needs doing today! (Deadline was yesterday, but fortunately I got an extension!). ![]() |

Welcome back Ozark girl!!! We missed you. How has everything been for you these days? As Normy said we both have been pre-occupied with real estate sales these past few months. I am in the new home and trying to get in all set, Normy is still in the final sale process. Talk to you soon.

Congratulations on the move, Sharon! I think Normy's suggestion on parting with the vases is about as good as it gets.
As far as the regret later, maybe try stepping back and thinking differently. Was it really a big deal about the project? It's not like all the other kids had a ready supply of props, either. Maybe it just made her be more creative. Think of clearing out stuff as an adventure! When something comes up, you will have an opportunity to deal with the need a new way. Sometimes by buying just what is needed (one item instead of a whole box of stuff), creating something (making an indian drum with a tin can), or by getting more creative with the the few items you keep (10 vases instead of 30). Hope this helps. Good luck with the closing and final moving! Normy - what happens Friday? Is that moving day for you? |

Yup! We finally moved. Love this new house - it's ace! I just wanna play house now though - don't want to do anything else. Not a good trait in a procrastinator.

Wrote a long post and lost it, darn I hate that. Very happy that you love the house Norm, I know what you mean about wanting to play house, I did that for
about 2 months straight!!!
I was out of work for 2 weeks with a bad case of the flu, I had planned to get my flu shot after Christmas, guess I should have gotten it earlier. I am still feeling shaky & weak, I guess it will take awhile to get back to my normal self. Happy Holidays to everyone here, hope everyone has a terrific new year to come. Love, Sharon |
